While some of us have started crowd sourcing campaigns and donation drives in a bid to buy the Apple Watch Edition, a dog in China owns two of them — courtesy its billionaire Chinese owner. Wang Sicong, the 27-year-old son of mainland China’s richest man posted photos of his dog wearing two Apple Watch Editions on its front legs. The photos were posted on social networking site Weibo and it has created an Internet meltdown of sorts.

First spotted by Shanghaiist, Sicong posted some five photos of his dog being positively unmoved by wearing smartwatches worth nearly Rs 20 lakhs. On Weibo, the caption read, “I have new watches! I’m supposed to have four watches since I have four long legs. But that seems too tuhao (slang for arrogantly rich) so I kept it down to two, which totally fits my status. Do you have one?”

Users obviously burned in envy looking at the dog, who has also been given the ‘world’s most spoilt dog award” by the Internet. The post has received more than 6,000 comments so far – many of which are laced with outrage and jealousy. One of the comments read, “We’d like to pretend that this post is just a joke, but mostly because we don’t want to be mad at that adorable dog. The dog can’t help that its owner is an asshole.”

The premium Apple Watch Edition is the most expensive smartwatch available out there, with the white sport band retailing in China for ¥88,800 (approximately Rs 10 lakhs).
